I went and saw a nutritionist on Monday and since I was sort of having to stop and think today, I figured I'd write down everything she told me so I am less likely to forget. And since I have the benefit of free nutritional advice, I figured I'd share with y'all what she said to me.
Note: I know some of you are uncomfortable with "weight loss" posts, but this is only tangentially about weight loss. Mostly it's just a way for the hubby and I to get and STAY healthy.
( The Dos and Don'ts of Eating )I have never in my life heard the phrases "eat CORRECTLY" and "portion control" as much as I did that day. However, three days later, here are the side effects I'm noticing:

For those who wonder how I ate before and how this differs: I ate once a day at dinner. I'd have maybe 800-1000 calories per day, all at once. Because I really don't like to eat at other times. So I'm eating "more" now, but I'm spacing it out and making healthier choices.
